Full Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position is located in our Destrehan, Louisiana office.

As an SLP with our company, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who require evaluation and treatment for speech, language, voice, fluency disorders, head injury, stroke, aphasia, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). This is a 40-hour week position that offers a flexible schedule to accommodate your family life.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package to all employees who work at least 30 hours per week. Our company is therapist-owned and run, providing a unique and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy and treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders
  • Administer standardized tests to accurately diagnose communication disorders
  • Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients and their families
  • Document and store treatment plans and progress reports
  • Communicate patient progress to relevant parties
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech and language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field
  • Previous experience in the field of speech pathology
  • Familiarity with communication disorders and their treatment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and patient demeanor

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willingness to train and learn new skills
