KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Adhere to protocols that safeguard the inventory and assets, including tools, supplies, and equipment. Ensure timely replenishment of supplies while minimizing waste.
TEAM COLLABORATION
Foster a collaborative environment through effective communication and coordination with various departments.
GUEST SATISFACTION
Address all guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a polite and timely manner to guarantee high levels of guest satisfaction.
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Conduct maintenance and repairs in your area of expertise, including the upkeep of building interiors and exteriors, guest rooms, and essential equipment such as HVAC and plumbing systems. Ensure that all equipment is ready and functional for the next day's operations, performing system checks and minor repairs as necessary.
Execute minor repairs, including but not limited to painting, tile replacement, and light fixture maintenance.
Furniture Maintenance:
Repair and maintain both interior and exterior furniture, addressing issues such as loose joints and finishes.
Utilize and care for essential hand and power tools necessary for general maintenance tasks.
Possess knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe maintenance and repairs, and ensure compliance with health department standards for water features.
Comply with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, as well as brand standards and local policies to ensure quality and safety.
Be knowledgeable about the locations of all electrical components and their functions.
Assist with property inspections as needed.Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Completion of advanced vocational training along with two years of experience in general maintenance or construction, or a combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to carry, lift, push, and pull items of significant weight.
Frequent standing and movement throughout the facility.
Regular handling of objects and equipment for facility maintenance.
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crawling.
Additional Skills:
Possess specialized knowledge or certification in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, or HVAC systems.
Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with supervisors, staff, and guests.
Ability to read and write effectively, along with proficiency in computer applications for documentation and task management.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Willingness to work overtime or off-schedule hours to assist during emergencies.
