Essential Qualifications & Expertise

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (Laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

Position Overview

· Upholds and advocates for the company’s mission and vision

· Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality

· Implements Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in all relevant responsibilities

· Acquires skills to perform routine analyses in accordance with established methods, protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and guidelines from regulatory bodies.

· Develops proficiency in documenting work and managing study documentation and laboratory records.

· Gains experience in utilizing laboratory instruments and software pertinent to assigned tasks.

· Participates in project meetings and discussions.

· Trains to conduct peer reviews of analytical data.

· Organizes daily workload and effectively manages multiple assignments.

· Fosters a collaborative team atmosphere, coordinating individual tasks with team members.

· Ensures a clean and safe laboratory environment.

· Conducts all operations in a safe and efficient manner.

· Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.

· Engages with operational staff, scientific teams, and departmental leadership.

· Expected to comprehend hazardous waste management processes and receive on-the-job training for specific waste handling in their area.

· May encounter potential food allergens (e.g., milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, etc.).

· Availability for overtime and weekend work as necessary.

· Role involves periods of standing and sitting for extended durations, including work within a laboratory hood and at a benchtop.
