This position offers a unique chance to work in a clinic setting, focusing on prevention, wellness, and maintenance of health in partnership with patients. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will evaluate, treat, and educate patients, working under the collaboration of a physician. Your responsibilities will include examining and diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, performing testing, referring to physicians as needed, writing prescriptions, and performing administrative procedures within your scope and licensure of expertise.
Work Schedule
This role requires a 40-hour workweek, with the option to work 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Requirements
- Master's degree level Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited college/university
- Minimum three years primary care practice experience
- Ability to work independently
- Working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Active and unrestricted applicable licensure
- CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- NPI & DEA
- Current National Board Certification
