Electro-Mechanical Technician Role

DCS Corporation is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join the Vehicle Integration Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for physically building and integrating cables, hardware, and various Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) on Ground Vehicles and Simulators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate MIL Spec cable harnesses in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and DCS build process documentation.
  • Install electrical cabling and equipment into Ground Vehicles and Simulators.
  • Modify/repair electrical/mechanical issues in base vehicle platforms as needed.
  • Fabricate/modify bracketry and boxes for custom installs.
  • Produce accurate work and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.

Required Skills:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to customer-related requirements.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a secret clearance.
  • High School diploma with 7 years of experience.
  • Experience drilling, grinding, and modifying mechanical assemblies.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics.
  • Cable fabrication experience and ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Less than 10% travel anticipated.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience building Mil-Spec cables.
  • Experience welding.
  • Experience running machines such as an End Mill or Lathe.
  • Experience in PCB soldering/fabrication.
  • Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems on Ground Vehicles such as MRAP, Stryker, Bradley, JLTV, HMMWV, and/or FMTV.
  • CDL.
