Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Sonographer to join our team at Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing ultrasound support and training to our emergency doctors and nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound studies and facilitate training at our hospitals and regional facilities
  • Maintain relationships with teleconsultation radiologists and ensure accurate, up-to-date sonographic techniques
  • Develop and implement training programs aligned with VEG culture and mission
  • Track doctor and nursing team skills and engage in self-reflection and program evaluation practices
  • Collaborate with medical directors, VNDCs, and director of radiology education to discuss program development and training objectives

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of veterinary ultrasound experience
  • Credentials as a veterinary technician or diagnostic medical sonographer
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and mentor others
