We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work in a home care environment, assisting with the treatment, management, and education of patients with pulmonary disorders.
Responsibilities- Set up and provide education/instruction on safe use of respiratory equipment in accordance with written physician prescriptions and patient evaluations.
- Responsible for setting up documentation and patient follow-up as necessary.
- Ensure quality and safe delivery of services to patients according to the plan of care.
- Use equipment and supplies safely, effectively, and efficiently.
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
- Previous experience preferred.
- BCLS Certification.
- Current Iowa R.C.P. license obtained after completion of entry-level RRT examination from NBRC.
- Actively involved in obtaining RRT credential from National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
