Animal Care Professional

We are seeking a compassionate Animal Care Professional to join Mansfield Veterinary Hospital full-time (approximately 40 hours per week). The successful candidate will assist Veterinarians with appointments, coordinate animal care, prepare medications, review records, and update medical records.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, patience, and a love for animals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a similar role, knowledge of animal care and handling, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Triage pets upon arrival at the clinic
- Interview pet owners to obtain patient history
- Take vital signs
- Assist with appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a similar role required
- Knowledge of animal care and handling essential
