Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Practice Manager to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the human, material, equipment, and fiscal resources for the Diabetes-Endocrinology Clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Provide leadership and direction to clerical support staff, and coordinate and evaluate clinical support staff in conjunction with the lead physician.
  • Develop and implement action plans to contribute to the organization's ability to carry out its mission and accomplish annual pillar goals.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance, and ensure compliance with legal and accrediting requirements.
  • Engage staff in providing and improving service delivery, and recognize staff and others for contributions.
  • Conduct ongoing high, solid, and low performer conversations with direct reports, and hold them accountable for their performance.
  • Create a self-development plan to improve leader skills, competence, and outcomes.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in healthcare management
Working Conditions

This position requires working with computers, typing, reading, and writing. Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking are also required. Lifting, moving, and loading 30 to 50 pounds may be necessary.
