Assembly Technician

As an Assembly Technician at ASSA ABLOY, you will be responsible for assembling products and checking quality on each piece for function and workmanship. You will work in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Read work orders and assemble products according to specifications.
Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Work with a Team Leader to produce product based on the production schedule.
Expedite materials throughout the cell as needed for production.
Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
Maintain equipment needed to perform tasks.
Inventory tools, parts, and supplies; contact the Team Lead or Area Manager when supplies are needed.
Requirements:
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Detail-oriented and consistent.
Ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills.
Must be mobile to move from one workstation to another and lift 40 pounds.
