Position Overview:
As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting mammography examinations in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammographic imaging procedures for a diverse patient demographic, ensuring professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist in various breast-related diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies.
- Utilize appropriate techniques and equipment to deliver optimal imaging results.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation for all imaging procedures.
- Process and develop x-ray films using established protocols.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist.
Certifications Required:
- ARRT certification is mandatory.
- Mammography certification must be obtained within the initial months of employment.
- Active Diagnostic Radiography License is required.
