About the RoleThis Paramedic position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and ICS courses. You must have a valid California Driver's License and Ambulance Driver's License. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
- Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
- Provide advanced medical care using medical equipment and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones.
- Act as team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
- Drive ambulances on 911 responses.
