  2. Assist in the setup and merchandising of event gift shops, including organizing merchandise layouts, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness.
  3. Welcome guests and identify their interests to provide tailored sales recommendations.
  4. Utilize POS systems with precision and accuracy.
  5. Take ownership of cleaning, restocking, and completing tasks as directed by supervisors.
  6. Showcase merchandise effectively to boost sales, including suggesting complementary items.
  7. Articulate product features, benefits, and usage to customers.
  8. Stay informed about current promotions, sales, and events.
  9. Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist in stock management.
  10. Continuously enhance knowledge of products, the facility, and events held.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated honesty and integrity in all actions.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Attention to detail in operational procedures.
  • Self-motivated and innovative, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various duties and responsibilities.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during events.
  • Availability to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to safety policies and training.
