Job Overview:
As a Graphic Designer at Divisions Maintenance Group, you will collaborate with diverse teams throughout the organization to produce and refine engaging content that effectively represents and promotes our brand, mission, and vision. This position offers ample creative opportunities to display your artistic talents and contribute to the visual narrative of our organization. The Graphic Designer will be tasked with creating materials tailored for our key stakeholders: customers, facility maintenance providers, and current and prospective employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a wide range of content for various platforms, including social media, video graphics, environmental graphics, digital signage, presentations, and branded materials.
- Work closely with marketing and other departments to create captivating visuals that align with our brand standards and strategic goals.
- Assist in the creation, updating, and enhancement of sales materials, including presentations, one-pagers, and other marketing collateral.
- Produce print materials such as posters, banners, postcards, and other printed media, ensuring high-quality output and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Transform complex concepts into visually appealing and easily understandable graphics.
- Ensure timely completion of all design projects while adhering to specifications and quality standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and integrate innovative design practices into your work.
- Support various marketing and communication initiatives and priorities within the department.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated graphic design experience.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Art, Digital Media, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- A robust portfolio showcasing proficiency in various design formats and styles is essential.
- Expertise in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience in designing for both digital and print formats.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with the capacity to think innovatively and contribute unique ideas.
- Additional creative skills, such as photography or illustration, are advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
