Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental standards and state regulations. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver personalized and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a resource nurse for the endocrine/bariatric department, providing direct care and assisting clinic providers.
  • Conduct vital sign assessments, manage clinic supplies, and ensure proper disposal of medical waste.
  • Collaborate with providers to schedule diagnostic tests and manage patient care effectively.
  • Triage incoming calls and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes promptly.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
  • Anticipate patient needs and provide timely responses to requests.
  • Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid NH Registered Nurse license or compact state RN license.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing is required; BSN is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Bariatric and/or Endoscopy nursing is preferred.
