Job Overview

Sika, a global leader in the development and production of systems and products for commercial and residential construction, is seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing of mortars and admixtures to meet quality control specifications in a timely manner.
  • Report test results and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Enter test data and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
  • Collect and verify certificates of analysis for incoming raw materials.
  • Ensure lab equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Manage inventory of lab supplies and chemicals to ensure minimal but sufficient stock levels.
  • Assist in arranging sample shipments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as specified by the Plant Manager and Quality Control Specialist, in accordance with business requirements.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree or High School diploma with 1-3 years' experience in quality control testing and methodology in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong math and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel software.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the success of the organization.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
