Transportation Specialist

Job Summary:
The Transportation Specialist at AtlantiCare is responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently to our Partial Out-Patient Programs. The ideal candidate will have a Commercial Driver's License and excellent driving skills. As a key member of our team, you will operate our vans in accordance with established laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:
* Safely transport patients from home to the Partial Out-Patient Programs
* Develop routes as needed to ensure efficient transportation
* Assist in developing quality assurance studies based on customer service and departmental policy and procedures
* Participate in performance improvement efforts and demonstrate commitment to teamwork and cooperation

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Commercial Driver's License required (no points violations allowed)
* HSFAC certification required within 90 days of hire or transfer
* Prior experience driving a van preferred
* Ability to sit and drive a majority of the time, with frequent bending and stooping

Work Environment:
Potential for exposure to hazards and risks of the hospital environment, including infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury.

$45,000 - $60,000 per year
