Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Administer magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to patients, ensuring accurate and safe results.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including scanners and related devices, to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MRI technology and procedures, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the imaging process.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in MRI technology and patient care.
Requirements
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (CRT or R.T.(MR))
  • 1-3 years of experience in MRI technology, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment, as well as stand for long periods
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
