Job Summary

At HomeGrown, we're seeking a skilled Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enthusiastically greet guests as they arrive and depart, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Assist guests to their seats and maintain a smooth guest flow, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Accommodate special needs of guests, such as booster seats, highchairs, or disabilities.
  • Manage the wait list when the restaurant is full, ensuring guests are informed and satisfied.
  • Provide exceptional guest assistance to servers as needed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash transactions.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds, and to stand for long periods of time.
