Job Description
The Advanced Metrology Programmer will be responsible for creating, verifying, and controlling Computer-Aided Measurement (CMM) programs. These programs will be used by personnel within the organization to determine product conformity. The ideal candidate will have experience with inspection of mechanical components in an aerospace or defense-related company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update CMM inspection programs for use by members of the inspection/manufacturing team.
- Verify and document program accuracy using EBAD internal and available industry standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements relating to the inspection process.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of various mechanical components and assemblies.
- Maintain records, data, and logs as necessary.
- Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience with inspection of mechanical components in an aerospace or defense-related company.
- Basic Quality and Inspection methods.
- Geometric Tolerances and Dimensions CMM Programming & Troubleshooting.
- 5+ years of experience with PCDMIS.
Compensation:
Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
