Automotive Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Glovis EV Logistics America in Savannah, Georgia. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our automotive parts logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of packages to guarantee compliance with our quality standards and identify any potential issues.
  • Complete and submit detailed package inspection reports for each shipment, highlighting any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  • Manage non-conforming materials and quarantine them when necessary, ensuring they do not compromise the quality of our products.
  • Pick up and return packages for rework or inspection as required, maintaining accurate records throughout the process.
  • Check and replace nonconforming parts, sorting them at the line side while maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Process audit and quality improvement activities for sub-assembly lines, recommending effective countermeasures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with VPC Yard, HMGMA, and parts suppliers to develop and implement integrated quality control strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in quality assurance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
