At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in skilled nursing operations. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing direct resident care and supervision of non-licensed team members.
Responsibilities- Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance while promoting the highest degree of quality care and service.
- Oversee coordination of residents' health and wellness needs, working closely with family members and consulting with community physicians to ensure personalized care.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, utilizing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and Care Plan Process.
- Manage multiple priorities, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Utilize computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and ability to learn new applications.
- Graduate of an approved college/school of nursing.
- Current state license as a Practical Nurse/Vocational Nurse.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, and/or full-service operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods as applied to skilled nursing and resident care.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local long-term care regulations.
