HVAC Installation Lead

The HVAC Installation Lead is responsible for overseeing the installation of new units and replacement parts, ensuring work is completed according to company specifications. As the lead installer, you will be the leader of your installation team, instructing team members and executing professional install jobs. You will work hands-on with your crew, installing a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, while ensuring the installation is done properly, safely, and to the ambitious standards of One Hour Heating and Air of Cape Cod, all while providing excellent customer service.

• Direct oversight of installation dispatching, ordering, warehousing, truck inventory and maintenance, and tool inventory and maintenance
• Oversee the building and completion of installation job packets
• Ensure complete and accurate forms in job folders
• Accurate ordering of materials to complete each installation
• Approve assignment of installation crews to each installation job
• Oversee the coordination of materials procurement with approved vendors for maximum efficiency and cost
• Oversee the tracking of all unused materials and returning or reusing on another job as applicable
• Oversee the inventory of all truck and warehouse material and product stock
• Maintain safety and quality as a top priority by scheduling and conducting monthly safety meetings
• Conduct regular job site and truck inspections
• Permits filing for installations requiring local permits to commence work
• Maintain departmental budget expectations to include job costing analysis of completed jobs

• No less than 5 years' experience in residential replacement and retrofit HVAC systems is required
• Knowledgeable in local HVAC codes and the ability to make on-the-job applications
• Must display effective communication skills and technical competence
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Clean driving record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Be able to follow OSHA requirements and safety precautions per company procedures and policies
• Must provide basic hand tools
• Excellent attention to detail

$55.00 per hour
