Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
- Must hold and maintain a valid Texas nursing license or permit.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
Job Overview:
The Nurse Clinician III is a proficient healthcare professional who demonstrates the necessary expertise and skills to uphold the standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Texas Nurse Practice Act. This role requires a seasoned individual who is knowledgeable and adept in their specialty area, functioning effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging in collaborative decision-making that is primarily interdependent.
- Focusing on problem-solving and patient-centered care delivery.
- Managing unexpected or emergency situations commonly encountered in the designated specialty population.
- Serving as a resource and mentor for Nurse Clinician I and II staff.
- Providing care based on the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance.
