Acrobatics Coach

The Butler County Family YMCA seeks a highly skilled and experienced Acrobatics Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing high-quality gymnastics programs for youth and teens.

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. The coach will work with students of varying skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Instruct gymnastics classes while following the national YMCA Gymnastics guidelines and curriculum.
• Assist with new student/parent orientations.
• Observe and adjust approach to support all participants' capabilities, physical conditions, health, and culture.
• Conduct fun, energizing, safe, and developmentally appropriate classes while promoting a positive atmosphere.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum age of 16.
• Previous experience working with children in a gymnastics, dance or cheer environment.
• Gymnastics knowledge & skills.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. As a part-time employee, you will also receive:

This role requires the ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting. You must also be able to demonstrate gymnastics skills.
