The Butler County Family YMCA seeks a highly skilled and experienced Acrobatics Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing high-quality gymnastics programs for youth and teens.
About the RoleThis is a part-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability. The coach will work with students of varying skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct gymnastics classes while following the national YMCA Gymnastics guidelines and curriculum.
- Assist with new student/parent orientations.
- Observe and adjust approach to support all participants' capabilities, physical conditions, health, and culture.
- Conduct fun, energizing, safe, and developmentally appropriate classes while promoting a positive atmosphere.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum age of 16.
- Previous experience working with children in a gymnastics, dance or cheer environment.
- Gymnastics knowledge & skills.
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. As a part-time employee, you will also receive:

This role requires the ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting. You must also be able to demonstrate gymnastics skills. Clearances and CertificationsAll positions require the following clearances for employment prior to the date of hire:
- PA CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK.
- PA CHILD ABUSE HISTORY CERTIFICATION.
- FBI (DHS) FINGERPRINTING HISTORY CLEARANCE.
