Key Responsibilities

As a Critical Care Specialist, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in Emergency Department (Adults), Emergency Department (Pediatrics), Inpatient (Adults), Critical Care/Telemetry (Adults), and Medical-Surgical (Adults) units. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and treating responses to actual or potential health problems, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and safe patient care.

Requirements
  • A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State;
  • One (1) year of clinical nursing experience in the specialty area in which assigned to float;
  • Holds or obtains a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
