Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Technician to join our team at Think Power Solutions LLC. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of equipment that protects and controls the flow of electricity in the power grid. Our ideal candidate will have experience with relay testing and commissioning, as well as knowledge of digital relays, electromechanical relays, intelligent electronic devices, and other related systems.

Responsibilities
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of equipment that protects and controls the flow of electricity in the power grid
• Perform testing and commissioning on multiple relay models with experience in microprocessor relays, RTUs, and Power Line Carrier
• Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables tailored to meet custom requirements
• Demonstrate safety focus and possess a minimum of OSHA 10 Certification
• Understand reduced and inadequate protection, zones of protection, and current circuits
• Work independently and take initiative while maintaining excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

Requirements
• Associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a protection and control technician
• OSHA 10 Construction Safety Certification
• Understanding of protection and control principles and practices
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong ability to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized
• Commitment to safety
