Job Title: Licensing Assistant

The GOAL Family of Companies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in the maintenance and compliance of our state and regulatory licenses.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the gathering of information and preparation of licensing and registrations for the business
  • Track and report on 200+ licenses and registrations
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries with speed and professionalism
  • Maintain the licensing calendar for various business groups
  • Perform routine clerical duties, such as filing forms and other records, with the Secretary of State for foreign LLC and d/b/a registrations
  • Maintain accurate and thorough files and documentation
  • Assist in and work with the Compliance and Legal team to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Work to proactively meet deadlines
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three years of experience in administrative support
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and Teams
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as attentiveness to details and a commitment to follow up
  • Able to effectively manage several administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to handle confidential corporate information in a discrete and professional manner
  • Ability to work and complete tasks independently
Bonus Points:
  • Experience dealing with government employees and state agencies and use of the Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System ("NMLS")
  • Existing notary or ability to obtain notary
  • Previous experience working with loan servicers and/or collection agencies
