We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team at Kidzcare Pediatrics. As a Pediatrician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the health status of patients and develop appropriate plans for health supervision and illness management.
- Diagnose and treat childhood illnesses, including chronic and acute conditions.
- Provide comprehensive health assessments, teaching, counseling, and advising patients and their families about growth and development, health status, illnesses, management plans, and health promotion.
- Provide age-appropriate education based on growth and developmental factors, cultural and belief variables, and family systems.
- Use prescriptive authority to treat illness, improve health status, and provide preventive care.
- Participate in periodic chart reviews with other providers in the practice as part of ongoing quality assurance.
- Take call on weekdays, weekends, and holidays in rotation with other providers in the practice.
- Doctorate in Medicine degree, required.
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Valid TN Medical Doctor license required.
- Maintain all appropriate approvals to prescribe and dispense drugs under applicable Tennessee State and federal law (CDS DEA license).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Courteous and compassionate bedside manner.
