Job Summary

CHI Health Lakeside is seeking a skilled Travel ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a critical care travel nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our ICU department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including hemodynamic parameters and ventilator settings
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Perform various procedures, such as central line placement and arterial line management
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations
  • Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or Iowa
  • 2+ years of experience in ICU or critical care nursing
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Ability to work 13 weeks, 36 hours per week
  • Flexibility to work every other weekend and rotate holidays
  • Ability to float to PCU or MedSurg units as needed
