Job Summary

Empire Airlines is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the storage, transfer, and delivery of aircraft and non-aircraft parts, tooling, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, perform monthly and annual inventory counts, and ensure proper rotation of spares to minimize shelf-life.
  • Part Issuance and Tracking: Issue parts and tools to maintenance personnel, maintain computer records, and process returns of unused parts and supplies.
  • Receiving and Shipping: Receive and inspect incoming parts, tools, and supplies, and package and ship outgoing items.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure efficient processing of repair orders and returns, and communicate with team members to ensure smooth inventory operations.
  • Quality Control: Perform receiving inspections to ensure conformance to part numbers, quality, and proper documentation from vendors.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school or equivalent with aviation parts and inventory experience preferred.
  • Communication and Computer Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and proficiency in computer systems and detail-oriented.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periods, and lift parts and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds or more.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work is performed in and outdoors, with some travel required, and exposure to noise and hazards associated with an aircraft hangar.
  • Physical Requirements: Requires manual dexterity, speaking, seeing, and hearing to conduct business.
Benefits
  • Compensation: Starting pay $17.00 to $19.00, depending on experience, and includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Travel, and other benefits.
