We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Seven Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve successful outcomes and regain their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with physical injuries or illnesses, cognitive impairments, psychosocial dysfunctions, mental illnesses, developmental or learning disabilities, or adverse environmental conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize patient independence and health.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, physical therapist assistants, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care.
- Conduct observational, verbal, or manual assessments to identify areas for physical therapy services.
- Provide education and consultation to patients, families, and other individuals to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Successful completion of an educational program in physical therapy approved by the appropriate accrediting agency.
- Licensure to practice as a physical therapist.
- Prior experience in Skilled Nursing, preferred.
- Membership in state and national American Physical Therapy Association, preferred.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
- Thorough knowledge of physical therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of possible hazards to patients during treatment and necessary precautionary and remedial measures.
- Demonstrated emotional stability to cope with patient and employee demands.
- Maintenance of patient and employee confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement.
