Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our Asset Protection team. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and team members. You will work closely with our Asset Protection team to prevent and investigate theft, as well as respond to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of our guests and team members by identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Asset Protection: Work with our Asset Protection team to prevent and investigate theft, as well as recover stolen merchandise.
  • Security Incidents: Respond to and accurately document security incidents, including apprehending subjects in accordance with company policy.
  • Training and Development: Train team members on operational shortage focus area opportunities and execute shortage action plans set by Asset Protection leadership.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including climbing up and down ladders and scanning, handling, and moving merchandise efficiently and safely.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess a welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to climb up and down ladders, apprehend subjects in accordance with company policy, and scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
