Job Summary

The Computed Tomography Technologist is a vital member of the Mercy Medical Center team, responsible for performing high-quality CT scans on patients of all ages. This role requires a strong technical skillset, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, using high-level technical skills and adhering to established protocols.
  • Conduct pre- and post-exam activities, ensuring accurate and efficient scanning processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, patients, and visitors, upholding Mercy Medical Center's Service Excellence Standards, Mission, and Values.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in General Diagnostic Imaging and CT Scanning, preferred.
  • Licensure in the State of Maryland.
  • CPR certification and ARRT certification.
