About the Role

Cipla is seeking a highly skilled QC Chemist II to join our team in Central Islip, New York. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for conducting routine testing and analysis in a specific group or department setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced testing and/or critical testing, as required.
  • Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testing.
  • Participate in investigation activities.
  • Ensure compliance to all data integrity and cGMP practices, procedures, and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA), physical sciences preferred.
  • Must have current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of raw materials and finished product testing and instruments and techniques such as GC, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Karl Fischer (KF), Dissolution, Particle Size and ICP.
  • Familiarity with Chromatography systems is required, Enpower is a plus.
  • Proficiently speak, communicate, and understand (read and write) scientific work in English.
