About the Role:
This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, caring for patients with complex medical conditions. You will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide comprehensive care that addresses physical, emotional, and social needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions to enhance care.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' unique needs, working collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by medical providers, monitoring patients for potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Patient Education: Provide clear, concise information to patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care, ensuring they feel empowered to manage their health.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
