We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist to join our team at Optum NY, a leading clinician-led care organization. With a focus on innovative and collaborative care models, we are dedicated to advancing the health of our community.

About the Role

This dynamic position offers a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive ophthalmology with a team of experienced physicians who specialize in small-incision cataract surgery, screening and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and more. You will have access to privileges in ambulatory surgical centers and community hospitals, allowing you to provide high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients.

Highlights of the Opportunity
  • Fully supported with a team of clinical & non-clinical staff as well as Optometrists
  • Excellent support staff and dedicated practice management systems
  • Clinicians in this department will have access to privileges in ambulatory surgical centers and community hospitals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
  • Board Certification or board eligibility in Ophthalmology
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
