About the Role:
Avera is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Avera Eureka Health Care Center. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving a variety of special diets for residents according to their clinical needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals for residents, adhering to their dietary requirements and preferences.
• Participate in daily meal preparations, as well as meal preparation for special events and group functions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and respond to specific issues and data reflective of the resident's status.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate respect to others.

Work Schedule:
• Day/Evening shifts as needed; PRN
• 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 11:30 am - 8:00 pm

Compensation:
• The hourly range for this position is $22.25, dependent on experience.
