Fabricator and Welder

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator and Welder to join our team at Farber Specialty Vehicles. As a Fabricator and Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication, welding, and assembly of specialty vehicles. Your duties will include reading blueprint layouts and engineering drawings, fabricating materials to specifications, laying out and building assemblies, and setting up welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble custom vehicles.
• Fabricate materials to specifications, including cutting, sawing, drilling, and grinding parts.
• Lay out and build assemblies, including generators, slide-out rooms, and hydraulic leveling jacks.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders.

Requirements:

• Competency with a variety of power tools, including drills, jig saws, and rivet guns.
• Knowledge of machine operation and relevant safety standards.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, push, and pull throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Physical capability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
