General Surgeon

As a Physician in General Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience at a Level I Trauma Center.

In this role, you will perform a variety of surgical procedures, including hernia operations, breast cancer surgeries, laparoscopic appendectomies, foregut, gallbladders, and emergency surgeries.

This position includes a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance based upon distance, a generous salary plus, production incentive, and an annual bonus incentive based on continuous improvement.

You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, with 2 days in clinic and 2 days in the OR. Call is 1 in 5.

What you'll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine, required
• ACGME Residency training in General Surgery, required
• Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery or Abdominal Wall Reconstruction is a plus
• Proficiency in robotic surgery required; Robotic Certification is plus
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery, required
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one, required
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process, required
