Utilize the nursing process to ensure the delivery of professional nursing care.
Conduct general nursing duties, including administering medications and treatments in line with nursing standards, while coordinating patient care activities for the clinic.
Perform RN responsibilities such as IV therapy and other activities within the RN scope of practice.
Conduct nursing assessments and evaluations of patients, documenting pertinent information, and ensuring continuity of care through effective communication.
Responsibilities Include:
- Observing, recording, and reporting patient conditions and responses to medications and treatments to the healthcare provider.
- Preparing equipment and assisting the provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing.
- Maintaining exam rooms with necessary supplies, medications, and cleanliness.
Education and Experience:
A graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduates from an approved nursing program are also acceptable.
A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meet the requirements for Multi-state licensure.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Occasional urgent care evening and weekend rotations may be required.
Occasional holiday shifts may also be necessary.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate will depend on experience.
$39.25 per hour
