Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rooftop Loader to join our team at SRS Building Products - Wentzville. As a Rooftop Loader, you will play a critical role in supporting our Drivers by loading trucks and riding with them to job sites to unload building materials safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a physically demanding, labor-intensive position, lifting up to 100 lbs. properly, repeatedly, and on a daily basis. You will also be working on roofs and must not have a fear of heights.

Responsibilities
  • Load trucks with roofing materials and ride with Drivers to job sites
  • Unload building materials onto roofs with attention to Roofing Contractors' needs and homeowners' property
  • Work in a team environment to ensure safe and efficient unloading of materials
  • Develop basic math skills for inventory counts and English verbal and written skills to read purchase orders and communicate with team members
  • Participate in our company's safety program and adhere to all safety protocols
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a physically demanding, labor-intensive position
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. properly, repeatedly, and on a daily basis
  • Basic math skills for inventory counts and English verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work on roofs and not have a fear of heights
