Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Wash & Detail Department, ensuring that all recreational vehicles are meticulously cleaned and detailed to meet our high standards.
  • Supervise maintenance tasks for the facility, including HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, electrical maintenance, and general upkeep of both interior and exterior areas.
  • Conduct daily inspections of grounds and buildings to ensure safety and curb appeal, minimizing liability concerns.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines and promoting safety standards.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of wash and detail technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere.
  • Coordinate wash and detailing schedules, managing storage customer requests in collaboration with the corporate office.
  • Perform inspections and approve vehicles for customer release, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Address customer inquiries and collaborate with sales and service departments to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee billing processes and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, placing orders as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of leadership experience in customer service, preferably in RV washing and detailing or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance and repair or managing a preventative maintenance program.
  • Must be or can become OSHA Forklift Certified.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on employee development.
  • Hands-on management style; this role involves active participation with the team.
  • Proficiency in Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills.
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working outdoors.
  • Adaptable to change in a dynamic work environment, with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Willingness to work weekends as necessary.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Must pass a drug test and background check.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Working Conditions:

  • May require extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.
  • May involve lifting or moving heavy equipment or objects.
  • May require working in confined spaces or at heights.
  • May involve exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals.
  • Weekend or holiday work may be required.
