Job Title: Fundraising ConsultantBarrow Wise Consulting, LLC is seeking a skilled Fundraising Consultant to support our Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan to generate $150,000 - $300,000 annually in unrestricted revenue.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess the current fundraising program, board and staff expectations, current capacity, and environmental context for fundraising.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of existing fundraising efforts and infrastructure to determine areas for improvement and development.
- Develop a multi-year fund development plan and implementation strategy to build a fundraising program that aligns with our mission, vision, and values.
- Develop a comprehensive fundraising plan with strategies to increase fundraising efforts from individuals, corporations, and special events.
- Recommend key components and tactics for 2022 implementation, including possible donor circles.
- Initiate the implementation stage in conjunction with the Executive Director for an agreed-upon time following the completion of the plan.
- Identify 10 new, vetted, high-potential donors.
- Plan and create an initial fundraising drive.
- Test out fundraising strategy and complete fundraising cycle with initial drive.
- Provide training and guidance to board members and senior management staff on how to sustain the fundraising plan.
- Recommend a potential course of action to identify new resources to meet the ongoing fundraising strategies outlined in the plan.
- Present the fundraising plan to the senior management team and later to the RSI board at a quarterly board meeting.
- S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of experience developing organizations' fundraising capacity for local community programs.
- Familiarity with HABC and its programs, residents, and communities.
- Work independently, have excellent written and verbal communication, and have solid outcomes orientation that gets results.
- Must reside locally in the DMV area.
