We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Community Options, Inc. in Maryville, TN.

About the Role:

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing evidence-based and data-driven support to help them acquire, retain, and generalize essential skills for independent living.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite services to participants using trauma-informed care and positive behavior supports
  • Implement behavioral support strategies specified in the Behavior Plan to assist participants in acquiring and retaining skills
  • Collect data on progress and work collaboratively to ensure effective behavior reduction, skill acquisition, and skill generalization
  • Prepare progress reports for the participant's team as needed
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Successfully complete a 40-hour behavioral technician training
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports
  • Ability to implement Behavior Plans independently and confidently
  • Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with participants
