About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI examinations on patients of all ages, under the direction of a physician. You will be expected to demonstrate advanced technical knowledge and skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations on patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Operate MRI equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
  • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care and support.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in MRI technology and patient care.
Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) Certification required/ or ARMRIT
  • Current Radiology license through the State of which you will be working.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
