Compensation and Location
Pay Range: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Location: San Jose, CA
Role Responsibilities
As a Substitute Educator, you will:
- Fulfill classroom responsibilities as required.
- Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with fellow staff members.
- Demonstrate kindness and respect towards all students.
This is an on-call position, offering flexibility in your schedule.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in an elementary classroom setting is preferred.
- Creativity and adaptability in teaching methods.
To excel in this role, candidates must be capable of performing essential duties effectively. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.
Physical Requirements
This position involves frequent walking, standing, sitting, and engaging in various physical activities. Candidates should be able to lift, carry, and perform repetitive tasks as needed. Clear vision and hearing, with or without correction, are essential for this role.
