Job Description

Capgemini's AWS Practice is a key player in delivering innovative solutions to customers, leveraging collective expertise and best practices to drive success.

As a member of the AWS team, you will play a crucial role in shaping, solving, staffing, and ensuring timely and profitable delivery of solutions for Capgemini's customers across various industries.

You will help customers make informed decisions to meet their technical and business objectives by providing expert guidance, identifying project gaps, and proactively addressing them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement architectural designs, ensuring alignment with clients' strategic visions and driving business growth.
  • Lead software delivery, focusing on source code compilation, security compliance, vulnerability scanning, and building deployable units with robust code coverage, unit tests, and performance measures.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and advisory services to engineers and project teams, ensuring solutions align with architecture direction and business strategies.
  • Identify potential problems and implement process improvements and technology tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of technology projects and sustainment operations.
  • Lead technical team discussions, resolving conflicts and prioritizing demands and schedules.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing distributed applications and systems.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in architecting and deploying solutions on AWS.
  • AWS/Cloud-related certifications.
  • Strong understanding of software development and automation tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Chef, Python, etc.).
  • Ability to engage with teams, supervise solution architecture discussions, and review high-level and low-level designs.
  • Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations or IT transformations.
