Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon to join our team at Colorado Permanente Medical Group. As a Plastic Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients in a multi-specialty healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a multi-specialty care setting, managing multiple patient flows through the clinic and operating room.
  • Provide effective communication and documentation of relevant information to provide clear patient information and coordination of care with other medical team members.
  • Perform and assist with surgeries related to plastic surgery, determining surgical risk and conveying this information to patients.
  • Work effectively in an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with care teams to explore patient health conditions and diagnose health issues.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribing appropriate medications and health regimens as needed.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
  • Record complete and timely electronic medical records, utilizing an electronic health record system to obtain and record information related to patient care.
Requirements
  • MD/DO degree
  • Completion of a Fellowship or Extensive Residency Training in Gender Affirmation Surgery
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in the service line for which the position is accountable
  • Demonstrable expertise/interest in caring for patients requiring body, genital, and facial gender affirmation surgery
