Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and providing customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
• Process prescriptions and handle customer transactions
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
